Job summary

The Elliot Health System Ultrasound department is seeking an experienced Sonographer to produce high quality diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation. You'll work as part of a team across multiple locations, performing exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, MSK, and interventional procedures per IAC/ARDMS guidelines.

Successful candidates will have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program, ARDMS registration, and be prepared to obtain required certifications within stated

Qualifications

• Completed CAAHEP‑accredited Sonography program recognized by ARDMS is required.
• ARDMS certification preferred.
• MIRT licensure prior to hire required.
• OR registry eligibility within 12 months from start is required.
• Vascular registration within 18 months from start is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures based on IAC standards and adheres to ARDMS codes of ethics.
• Serves as primary liaison between patients, licensed practitioners, and the support team.
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols.
• Uses independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.
