Job summary

SolutionHealth's 20 Elliot Hospital of the City of Manchester is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. You will work as part of a team, rotating across ultrasound off-site or specialty departments based on your skills.

Exams include general abdominal, OB/GYN, MSK, breast, vascular and more; ARDMS eligibility or registration preferred. Per diems and variable shifts available, with emphasis on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Accredited (CAAHEP) educational program recognized by ARDMS.
• Previous or preferred experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Familiarity with neuro-sonology, vascular, abdominal, obstetrical/gynecological scanning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures based on IAC standards and ARDMS Code of Ethics.
• Serves as primary liaison between patients, licensed practitioners and the care team.
• Adheres to departmental exam protocols and uses professional judgment.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort during procedures.
