Job summary

Elliot Health System's Ultrasound department is seeking a student to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation while working as part of a collaborative team.

Enrollment in a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program recognized by ARDMS is required or preferred; the role may require obtaining BLS during orientation and continuing employment. The position includes weekend shifts (Every Other Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm) and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program recognized by ARDMS.
• Second-year student in a CAAHEP-accredited program preferred.
• Ability to obtain BLS during orientation and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonography procedures based on the SDMS Standards and Ethics.
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, licensed practitioners, and other support team members.
• Understand and adhere to departmental exam protocols.
• Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.
