The role emphasizes safety, equipment proficiency, and collaboration with the healthcare team. ARDMS certification or eligibility is required with BLS within 90 days; two years of experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved diagnostic ultrasound program is required.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility within 18 months of hire date.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to produce clear, accurate images.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze ultrasound images and document findings in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals on results.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Uphold safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety.
