Job summary

Radiology Partners’ Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) seeks a skilled sonographer for our outpatient imaging team in the Greater Austin area. You will perform ultrasound procedures, maintain QA, and ensure accurate documentation and coding within RIS and PACS.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS registered in AB, OB/GYN and RVT, with 2–3 years of experience and current AHA BLS. This on-site role offers competitive compensation and a robust total rewards package, including health

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered in AB, OB/GYN and RVT.
• Two to three years of experience as a Sonographer.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Performs Ultrasound Guided Procedures at least 25% of the time.
• Perform and maintain monthly quality control on ultrasound systems as required by credentialing bodies.
• Perform daily quality assurance of the ultrasound schedule to address conflicts.
• Verify procedures performed match RIS entries and are properly listed and coded.
• Verify that images, tech notes and documents transmit to PACS in a timely and accurate manner.
