Job summary

ARA Diagnostic Imaging, a Radiology Partners practice in the Greater Austin area, seeks a skilled Sonographer to support ultrasound procedures with fidelity and precision.

You will perform ultrasound-guided procedures, maintain QC, and ensure accurate RIS and PACS transmission while delivering compassionate patient care.

ARDMS certification and 2–3 years of experience required; a supportive, team-focused environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be registered through ARDMS with AB, OB/GYN and RVT.
• Two to three years of experience as a Sonographer.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.
• Highly motivated with great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound-guided procedures at least 25% of the time.
• Performs and maintains monthly quality control on ultrasound systems as required by credentialing organizations.
• Performs daily quality assurance of the ultrasound schedule to address potential conflicts.
• Verifies all procedures performed match RIS listings and are properly coded.
• Ensures images, tech notes, and required documents are transmitted to PACS in a timely and accurate manner.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Performs Ultrasound Guided Procedures at least 25% of the time.
• Perform and maintain monthly quality control on ultrasound system as required by credentialing organizations
• Perform daily quality assurance of the ultrasound schedule in order to address potential conflicts
• Verify that all procedures performed match the procedures listed in the RIS and are listed and coded properly
• Verify that all images, tech notes and required documents have successfully transmitted to PACS in a timely and accurate manner

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be registered through ARDMS with AB, OB/GYN and RVT
• Two to Three years of experience as a Sonographer
• Current AHA BLS
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships
• Highly motivated with great organizational skills .

Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
