Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform ultrasound studies and related procedures in accordance with department guidelines and patient care standards.

This full-time, on-site position reports to the Radiology department and offers opportunities to train students and participate in Lean VIP projects, while maintaining safety, confidentiality and excellent service to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate eligible and Registry eligible in an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS registry or registry eligibility in OB/GYN, Abdominal and Physics.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations following department policies and protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and records as required.
• Participates in student training and supports department projects.
• Delivers professional, confidential patient care and service.
