Job summary

St. Charles Health System Inc. is seeking an Ultrasound Coordinator to perform ultrasound studies and oversee daily operations in Radiology. The role requires ARDMS registry and at least 3 years of ultrasound experience, with potential for leading training and QA activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS Registry or Registry eligible (OB/GYN, Abdominal and Physics).
• Three years of full-time ultrasound experience as a technologist.
• Preferred: prior coordinator, lead, or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound exams per policies and protocols.
• Coordinate daily staffing and workflow within the ultrasound department.
• Oversee QA/QC testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Lead staff orientation, training, and performance input with leadership.
• Serve as liaison for inpatient/outpatient ultrasound issues and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
