Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor to lead the Ultrasound department, ensuring timely imaging, high-quality studies, and compliance with accreditation standards.

Under radiologist direction, you will plan, organize, and direct staff, manage scheduling and staffing, oversee quality improvement, and mentor technologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of formal training in an AMA approved school.
• Experience: 3 years Ultrasound experience including Vascular; Supervisory experience preferred.
• License: Registered by ARDMS and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding of ultrasound staff.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies (Joint Commission, DHEC, ACR).
• Maintain department accreditations and imaging protocols for diagnostic quality.
• Coordinate quality improvement projects and staff performance reviews.
• Provide patient and family advocacy and communicate policy changes.
