Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Coordinator, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the “care like family” mission of the hospital. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership abilities and interested in being part of a team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day operations of assigned modality.
  • Coordinate staffing assignments, patient scheduling, patient flow and monitor quality assurance activities.
  • Serve as the lead technical expert for assigned modality and perform technologist duties.
  • Train other department personnel, as necessary, to allow them to become familiar with the Ultrasound equipment.
  • Assist in the clinical education of radiologic technology students as well as assist within services within the department.
  • Responsible for assessment, treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
  • Assist the director with staff selection, orientation, evaluations and provide ongoing development of staff members in assigned modality.
Qualifications
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Registered with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
  • Supervisory or lead technologist experience is preferred.
