Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Cardiovascular Technologist to join its Cardiac Imaging team in Idaho Falls. The role focuses on non-invasive cardiac testing, ultrasound imaging, and coordination of echocardiography procedures.

You will work in a supportive, patient-centered environment with a family-like team, and you must hold approved cardiac sonography certifications and BLS.

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
  • RCCS, RDMS, RDCS, RCS, RVT or RVS cardiac sonography certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms and related non-invasive cardio diagnostic tests.
  • Coordinate two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for cardiac diagnosis.
  • Apply knowledge of stress testing in the Echocardiology department.
  • Participate in PI activities.
  • Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardiology testing.
  • Support vascular work and pacemaker analyses as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care.   • You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis and exercise echo

  • You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease.

  • You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. Either exercise stress or pharmacological stress

  • You will participate in PI activities.

  • You will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.

  • You will assist with other non-invasive cardo diagnostic testing.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

  • (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist
