Job summary

BayCare Health System in Bartow is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures and coordinate imaging workflow. The role supports RIS data management, file room tasks, physician assistance, and related duties in the imaging department.

The position requires ARDMS certification (1 required, 2 preferred) and an Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent experience, with options for on-call coverage and occasional weekend duties.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary. Assists with scheduling of staff, prioritization of patients, and supply resources for the department. Assists with on call coverage if applicable.
