Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater (Morton Plant) is seeking a part-time Sonographer to perform diagnostic and minimally invasive ultrasound procedures and to support RIS data management and patient care across the imaging workflow.

Must have an Associates Degree or Technical Program Completion with ultrasound focus. BLS and RDMS/ARRT (within 1 year) are required. Shift hours include Mondays 7P-7A and Thursdays 7A-7P, with occasional weekends and no remote work.

• Education: Associates Degree required.
• Education - Technical - Ultrasound or Ultrasound-focused program.
• Credential requirements include BLS and RDMS/ARRT within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures.
• Manage RIS data and imaging file room operations.
• Assist physicians and support patient transportation within imaging services.
• Handle clerical duties related to radiology workflows.

Summary

Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
