Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Clinical Lead - Ultrasound to provide administrative and clinical oversight of the Ultrasound department, ensuring high-quality imaging across the practice. The role reports into the Advanced Imaging Operations Manager and involves policy development, staff training, and ensuring accreditation standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating departmental meetings, scheduling within guidelines, equipment coordination, and contributing to performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years' experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high quality imaging across the practice.
• Coordinate monthly department meetings with managers and technologists.
• Lead in all Ultrasound department activities and ensure compliance with policies.
• Schedule patients within accreditation guidelines and coordinate with staff.
• Coordinate with Vendors to identify new packages and products for the Clinic.
• Provide input into performance evaluations and staff mentoring.
• Train and mentor new Ultrasound technologists and students.
• Ensure staff comply with policies, address issues with Operations Manager.
• Assist Ultrasound Operations Manager on retention and recruitment.
• Participate in educational activities and perform duties as defined for Ultrasound Technologist.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies; ensure OSHA compliance.
