Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to manage daily clinical internships for Ultrasound students at affiliated sites. You will oversee student preparation for internships and act as the liaison between the lab classroom and clinical sites to ensure timely compliance with all protocol expectations.

The role requires an AS degree with ARDMS/RDCS licensure, 3–5 years as a staff sonographer, and 1–3 years of instructional experience.

Qualifications

• AS Degree (BS preferred) and professional licensure (ARDMS/RDCS) required.
• Minimum 3–5 years as a staff sonographer in an imaging facility, hospital, or clinic.
• 1–3 years of instructional or teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical internships for Ultrasound students at affiliated sites.
• Oversee student preparation for internships and site placements.
• Act as liaison between the lab classroom and clinical sites to ensure protocol adherence.
• Maintain documentation of student progress, attendance, and competencies in Trajecsys.
