Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time evening shift. The selected candidate will perform ultrasound exams using standard imaging equipment, exercising professional judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality images while upholding patient- and family-centered care.

Required qualifications include an associate degree in diagnostic ultrasound and ARDMS certification(s) with BLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• ARDMS certifications required (S, BS, AB, OB, RDCS, RCS, VT) as applicable.
• BLS required on hire (AHA or ARC)

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate ultrasound exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
• Follow Corewell Health Patient and Family Centered Care principles at all times.

Part Time-Evenings

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope to Work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal as gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year required
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac 1 Year required Or
