Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking an NDT inspector to perform non-destructive inspection using handheld equipment and ultrasonic systems.

You will train on multi-axis systems and document root-cause analyses as part of ensuring compliance with NAS-410 and related standards. The role requires an associate degree or certificate in NDT, at least 40 hours of ultrasonic training, and the ability to work any shift.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in NDT or certificate; official transcripts required.
• Minimum 40 hours of formal Ultrasonic training.
• Willingness to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive inspection with hand-held equipment.
• Operate Multi-Axis automated ultrasonic systems.
• Teach/program multi-axis non-destructive test machines that perform complex motions.
• Investigate and document Root Cause analysis and Corrective action.
• Maintain NAS-410 and MAA1-10026-1 certifications.
• Create techniques to be approved by Level III.
• Prepare and maintain Quality records.
