Job summary

RTX’s ALEGS department seeks a seasoned Ultra Stack Lead to guide a multi-disciplinary team in stack build, test, and delivery across Block 1/2 configurations. You will drive production reliability, cost performance, and technical excellence while coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on engineering oversight, and effective problem solving to meet programmatic goals within a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary hardware engineering teams.
• Strong program management capability and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic oversight for a multi-disciplinary engineering team (electrical, mechanical, integration, and systems).
• Lead assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and yield improvement for slices and stacks across multiple electronics unit configurations.
• Ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance goals are met during hardware builds and production execution.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality across factories to support production and drive corrective actions.
• Drive yield improvement, defect reduction, and producibility enhancements while maintaining the TDP for Electronics Unit configurations.
• Conduct hardware acceptance reviews with customers and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
