Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Unit Load Device (ULD) repair mechanic to maintain and repair over 22,000 ULDs. You will repair containers and pallets per manuals and policies, while prioritizing safety and accuracy.

Expect to work with various ground handling equipment and participate in ongoing compliance with FAA regulations. Responsibilities include pallet straightening, site cleanliness, and maintaining electronic records.

Qualifications

• Safety and security of self and others is required.
• Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance practices and tool control.
• Ability to bend, kneel, or crouch during inspections and repairs.
• Willing to work fixed or rotating shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair/assemble ULDs including aluminum and lightweight containers and pallets.
• Perform pallet straightening.
• Maintain shop and facility cleanliness.
• Ensure security of the electronic maintenance records system.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leads/managers.
