Delta Air Lines is seeking a Unit Load Device (ULD) repair mechanic to maintain and repair over 22,000 ULDs. You will repair containers and pallets per manuals and policies, while prioritizing safety and accuracy.
Expect to work with various ground handling equipment and participate in ongoing compliance with FAA regulations. Responsibilities include pallet straightening, site cleanliness, and maintaining electronic records.

The Unit Load Device (ULD) repair mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of over 22,000 Delta ULDs. The mechanic will repair containers and metal pallets in accordance with commercial maintenance manuals and certified policies and procedures.
The mechanic will be safety focused and execute these critical duties and skills:
Repair/assemble ULDs including aluminum and lightweight containers and heavy-duty pallets, and ground handling equipment.
Perform pallet straightening.
Maintain shop and facility cleanliness, utilizing appropriate resources and equipment
Ensure system security of the electronic recordkeeping system for maintenance actions.
Ensure compliance with FAA and company policies and procedures, as well as adherence to Component Maintenance Manuals guidance.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Leads and Department Managers.

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be proficient in English.
Knowledge of basic maintenance practices surrounding safety and tool control
Ability to conduct inspections and perform repairs which frequently require motions such as bending, kneeling or crouching.
Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Prior ULD repair experience
At least one year of sheet metal experience
Must be able to self-manage
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Starting pay: $27.81 per hour
