Delta Air Lines is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to keep our fleet safe and on schedule. You will maintain aircraft, engines, components, and avionics per Delta and FAA specifications, perform inspections, and document maintenance procedures with focus on safety and reliability.

In this role, you will interpret discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, review maintenance records, and mentor others while using computers and tech systems.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check including a fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and random testing.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• If transferring internally, must be performing satisfactorily in present position.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aircraft, engines, components, and avionics per Delta and FAA specifications.
• Performs inspections during assembly of parts and after repair or installation of components.
• Documents maintenance procedures including component damage, origin, and condition.
• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• Interprets discrepancies or logs to troubleshoot issues and identify next steps.
• Researches, reads, and interprets technical manuals and guidelines for inspections, installations, and repairs.
• Reviews maintenance records to verify service checks and overhauls were performed at prescribed intervals.
