Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Privacy (DPO) to lead UK privacy compliance and serve as the DPO for the UK entity, reporting to senior governance. You will partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance to translate regulations into scalable controls, oversee DPIAs and breach governance, and drive the Privacy CMP and MI dashboard.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of regulatory and privacy compliance experience.
• Experience in financial services or fintech environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with governance, risk assessments and audits.
• Ability to translate legal/regulatory requirements into policies and controls.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK privacy governance activities and act as the UK DPO.
• Oversee DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, incident and breach governance.
• Develop and monitor the Privacy Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Coordinate with Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations and Risk.
• Prepare management reporting and governance materials for leadership.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inquiries.
