Job summary

Harper James is expanding its data protection team and seeks an experienced privacy professional to deliver outsourced DPO services and ongoing privacy support for client businesses. You will manage client relationships, provide practical advice and help businesses put effective privacy processes into practice.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outsourced DPO services for multiple clients.
• Ability to assess privacy compliance and identify gaps.
• Knowledge of DPIAs, records of processing, and retention schedules.
• Experience advising on international data transfers and data sharing.
• Ability to train and raise privacy awareness across client teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the trusted privacy advisor for a portfolio of clients as their DPO.
• Provide practical advice and help implement effective privacy processes.
• Lead DPIAs and monitor resulting actions with clients and teams.
• Maintain records of processing, notices and retention schedules.
• Support data subject access requests and vendor/data-sharing reviews.
