Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a UI/UX Engineer to support a national security program. You will design, prototype, and implement modern interfaces that translate complex mission requirements into usable tools for operators and analysts.

You will work with software and systems engineers, product owners, and testers to ensure accessible, responsive interfaces while adhering to RMF/STIGs and security practices in a TS/SCI environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python in a UI or full-stack development context.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Django.
• Responsive design, component-based development, and modern front-end engineering practices.
• Translating complex requirements and user workflows into interface solutions.
• CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins; Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and government system accreditation processes such as RMF and STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of modern, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical applications.
• Develop reusable UI components, patterns, and design standards for consistency and maintainability.
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept interfaces; validate concepts with stakeholders and ensure implementation accuracy.
