Job summary

Black Cape is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join a mission-focused team supporting national security and government customers. The role requires working onsite in a secure facility (SCIF) up to 1–2 days per week and holding an active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain a CI Poly.

You will bridge complex government data and human-centered software, collaborating directly with developers, product owners, and end-users to steer the visual direction of applications in secure

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
• Experience working onsite with DoD and/or IC customers.
• Ability to design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web applications.
• Ability to drive visual design, layout, and composition of web apps.
• Experience gathering user needs and delivering user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Wireframing & Low-Fidelity Mockups: distill complex secure workflows into clean layouts.
• High-Fidelity Mockups: craft detailed, interactive mockups as blueprints for developers.
• Collaborative Design: turn analyst and operator feedback into secure, functional interfaces.
