Black Cape is seeking a security-cleared UI/UX Designer to join our mission-focused team. The systems you build will directly support national security and critical decision-making for government customers.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and end-users in secure facilities to drive the visual direction of our applications, bridging complex data with intuitive interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Experience onsite with DoD and/or IC customers.
• Strong ability to design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web applications.
• Strong ability to drive visual design, layout, and composition of web applications.
• Experience working with end-users to identify needs and propose user-centric solutions.
• Familiarity collaborating with full-stack development teams in agile workflows.
• Portfolio demonstrating wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.

Responsibilities

• Wireframing & Low-Fidelity Mockups: distill complex, secure workflows into clean layouts.
• High-Fidelity Mockups: craft interactive mockups for technical government data.
• Collaborative Design: transform analyst feedback into secure, functional interfaces.
