Job summary

Respawn Entertainment is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Jedi team and craft best-in-class UI experiences for PC players. You’ll own features from design through deployment, collaborating with engineers, designers, and artists to deliver a polished player experience.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in game engineering with UI/UX focus, strong C++ skills, and a passion for great player centric UI. Unreal Engine experience is a major plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the games industry as an engineer with UI/UX focus.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with PC gaming and player expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable UI systems, in-game HUDs, menus, and front-end features.
• Drive PC-specific UI/UX features and the holistic engineering experience.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues to improve player experience.
• Collaborate with engineers, UI/UX designers, artists, producers, and QA.
• Contribute to healthy team morale and culture.
• Share and receive opinions about the game as a whole.
