Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a UI Design Associate to translate customer needs into intuitive digital experiences for web and mobile. You’ll create wireframes, visual concepts, and interactive prototypes while collaborating with designers, researchers, engineers, and product teams from concept to implementation.

You will help build and apply design systems, ensure accessibility, and contribute to reusable components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent practical experience completed recently or expected before start date.
• Academic, internship, volunteer, or project experience creating digital designs, visual concepts, or interactive experiences.
• Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, or other visual design deliverables.
• Understanding of visual design principles including layout, typography, colour, and hierarchy.
• Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and incorporate feedback into design solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively on team-based projects.
• Interest in creating accessible, customer-focused digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive digital experiences across web and mobile.
• Create UI designs including screens, layouts, components, and interaction states.
• Translate requirements and user insights into wireframes and prototypes.
