Job summary

UFC GYM in Hawaii is seeking an MMA Sales Manager to drive growth of private coaching and combat sports programs while ensuring a premium member experience. You will lead the transition from general membership to results-driven training by selling private/small group sessions, managing the Turn-Over process, and hitting revenue targets for combat training and supplements.

The role requires at least 2 years in fitness sales or related fields, MMA knowledge, and CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in fitness sales, hospitality, or retail management.
• In-depth MMA technique knowledge and PT program design.
• CPR/AED certification required and a fitness credential recognized by UFC GYM.
• High school diploma or GED required; a 4-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue by achieving monthly goals for Private Training, Small Group Training, and Supplements.
• Lead tours, prospect clients, present options, and convert into programs.
• Oversee the Turn-Over process from front-desk to coaching staff.
• Manage client lifecycles and scheduling to ensure coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive Results: Take full ownership of monthly revenue goals for Private Training, Small Group Training, and Supplements.
• Sales & Service Training: Lead fitness tours, conduct member prospecting (in-person/digital), present training options, and convert introductory packages into full, long-term programs.
• Master the "Turn-Over": Ensure a seamless hand-off from the front-desk sales team to the specialized coaching staff so new members immediately start with an action plan.
• Pipeline Management: Build a dedicated client base through consistent outreach, tracking body fat/measurements, and managing supplement booths or seminars.

Team Supervision & Member Service

• Coach the Coaches: Work alongside the Regional MMA Manager to lead daily, weekly, and monthly meetings. Motivate, guide, and supervise coaches to ensure they remain productive and meet their financial targets.
• Service Excellence: Act as the direct point of contact for member inquiries regarding the Coaching Department. Mediate and resolve member or employee relations issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Scheduling: Independently manage and oversee client appointment lifecycles, staff schedules, and time-keeping records to ensure coverage.

Operations & Compliance

• Enforce Policy: Consistently implement, communicate, and follow all corporate and club-level policies, operational systems, and safety procedures.
• Club Upkeep: Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and coordinate directly with operations staff to report any equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
• Availability: Maintain a flexible schedule with Monday through Sunday availability, including both morning and night shifts, to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience in fitness sales, hospitality, or retail management. Experience in employee relations or staff supervision is preferred.
• Technical Skill: In-depth knowledge of Personal Training techniques (assessment to program design) paired with thorough Mixed Martial Arts technical proficiency in Striking and Grappling.
• Certifications: Current CPR/AED certification required. Must possess at least one nationally recognized fitness certification recognized by UFC GYM.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a 4-year degree in a related field is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to remain active on the fitness floor for long periods, demonstrate proper use of all equipment, spot clients safely, and frequently lift and/or move up to 45+ lbs.
