Associated Milk Producers Inc. in Paynesville, MN is seeking a Production Operative Worker for an on-site, full-time role. The position commands an hourly rate of $28.14 with multiple production responsibilities across dairy processing lines.

You will operate and troubleshoot equipment, monitor quality, and maintain documentation while collaborating with supervisors and shifts. Prior dairy or cheese experience is preferred and safety standards are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in the dairy or cheese industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA and safety programs is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Operate dairy processing equipment including Milk Silos, Milk UF, Milk HTST, Milk Separator, Cream HTST, Cream Tanks, Whey Silo, Whey Separators, Whey HTST, Dryer CIP.
• Learn and execute procedures of all equipment.
• Adjust on all the equipment depending on the type of product to be produced.
• Taking frequent readings and logging variables.
• Unloading checks on chemicals upon delivery.
• Operate Clean in Place (CIP) procedures; troubleshoot and maintain machinery.
• Operate and clean all equipment involved with Milk/Whey department.
• Communicate well between supervisor, other shifts and departments.
• Verify quality control items such as product samples.
• Maintain proper documentation in all recordkeeping formats.
• Operate various machines to fulfill plant demands.
• Assist coworkers with tasks and department duties.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping.
• Assists with training new employees.
• Aids maintenance personnel for machine repairs or troubleshooting.
• Adhere to Quality, Food Safety, Safety and GMP policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

AMPI owns six Midwest-based manufacturing plants where 10 percent of the nation’s American-type cheese and processed cheese is produced. The cooperative’s award-winning cheese and powdered dairy products are marketed to foodservice, retail and food ingredient customers. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All AMPI employees have an obligation to report employee safety, food safety and food quality issues to personnel of authority.
• This position has a heightened food safety and food quality responsibilities.
• Operate dairy processing equipment including Milk Silo’s, Milk UF, Milk HTST, Milk Separator, Cream HTST, Cream Tanks, Whey Silo’s, Whey Separators, Whey HTST, Dryer CIP.
• Learn and execute procedures of all equipment.
• Adjust on all the equipment. depending on the type of product to be produced.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
