Job summary

Valley Health System in Blacksburg, VA is seeking an implementer for the uEHR team focusing on Research inc. Base Genomics. The role designs, configures, and supports application solutions to improve workflows and data integrity.

May require on-call and flex hours during critical incidents or implementations. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in informatics or related field, plus 3+ years in information systems, and experience with Epic or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and 4 years of technical application experience may be considered
• If an application requires certification, it must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements solutions within assigned applications.
• Educates others on system relationships and operational impacts.
• Performs gap analysis and recommends workflow improvements.
• Communicates project status and decisions to stakeholders.
• Develops and delivers end-user training for system adoption.
• Provides end-user support during upgrades and new releases.
