Job summary

Northshore School District is seeking a full-time Secondary Universal Design for Learning (UDL) TOSA to support secondary instruction district-wide. The role includes delivering professional learning, coaching teachers, and collaborating with TOSAs to ensure REJ-focused UDL implementation within Whole Child MTSS.

Responsibilities include facilitating differentiated professional learning, modeling effective practices, and using data to drive instructional decisions across secondary classrooms.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate required.
• Minimum five years of successful secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in UDL, differentiated instruction, and inclusive instructional practices.
• Experience supporting diverse student learners across identities and needs.
• Ability to design and facilitate engaging, job-embedded professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality professional learning on UDL, SEL, and PBIS for secondary educators.
• Provide job-embedded coaching and classroom support through modeling and feedback.
• Support implementation of equitable, Tier I instruction and MTSS across schools.
• Collaborate with district staff to ensure coherent curriculum, instruction, and student support.
• Analyze data to inform instructional improvement and student outcomes.
• Promote culturally responsive and REJ-aligned instructional practices.
