Job summary

NEOMED is seeking a Digital Accessibility & Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Coordinator to collaborate with faculty and staff to design, support, and improve accessible course materials and learning environments. You will lead efforts across the university to align UDL principles with WCAG standards, provide LMS training, and develop guidelines and workflows that enhance learner engagement.

This hybrid role offers up to two remote days per week after six months, with a strong commitment to

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
  • Experience with learning management systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, ADA Section 508) and UDL best practices.
  • Prior experience delivering professional development and training sessions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, support, and implement digital accessibility and UDL best practices.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to evaluate and remediate accessible educational content.
  • Provide LMS support and training to faculty and ITE staff.
  • Monitor progress toward accessibility compliance goals and reporting.
  • Develop guidelines and workflows integrating UDL across courses.
