Avita Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join the Emergency Department at Avita Galion Hospital. The role supports patients, families, and staff and helps with basic nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and current BLS certification. Preferred STNA/EMS certifications may enhance candidacy. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a 7a-4:30p schedule three days per week.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
• STNA Certification or Paramedic or EMS Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and compiles records in the facility.
• Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff.
• Provides basic nursing care to Emergency Department patients.
