uBreakiFix by Asurion is seeking a Store Lead in Grand Rapids to manage daily store operations, drive sales, and coach technicians on the Serve, Solve, and Sell approach. You will lead the team, ensure quality repairs, and uphold service standards.

The role requires hands-on repair experience, soldering skills, and the ability to handle physical workloads. Full-time schedule spans Mon-Sat and Sundays, with comprehensive benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Strong sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience repairing devices (computers, laptops, tablets, phones) including LCD replacement.
• Hands-on soldering experience required.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Full-time position with varying schedules (Mon-Sat 10am–7pm, Sundays 12pm–5pm).

Position Type: W2 Employee

Compensation: up to $17 per hour plus monthly incentives

In This Role, You'll Serve As a Lead

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for their performance.
• Demonstrate an understanding of sales behaviors and customer service best practices, ensuring that Technicians are well-versed in the Connected Home product and the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.
• Train and develop the Tech team.
• Act as the point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new processes.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with Operational leadership.

As a Retail And Repair Tech, Your Responsibilities Include

• Learning and applying the details of the Connected Home product, understanding the customer's technology, and offering and selling protection/tech support solutions.
• Consulting with customers to identify issues or explain repair procedures.
• Repairing devices, addressing cracked glass, and conducting pre- and post-repair testing.
• Applying sales experience to consistently promote the Connected Home product and employ the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.

Experience Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Highly recommended experience in sales and customer service.
• Essential experience with device repair, including computers, laptops, tablets, phones, hardware, software, and phone screen LCD replacement.
• Hands-on soldering experience is required.
• Past experience with ability to frequently lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
• This is a full-time position with varying schedules. Working days and hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Deal-Breaker Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
