Job summary

uBreakiFix by Asurion is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead sales and service outcomes within our growing repair network. You will motivate technicians, ensure strong customer service, and drive the Serve, Solve, and Sell approach across daily operations.

You will train the tech team, coordinate with operations leadership, and help implement new processes while maintaining safety and efficiency. This is a full-time role with weekend availability (Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00; Sun 12:00–17:00).

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Sales and customer service experience recommended.
• Experience with device repair (computers, tablets, phones) required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for performance.
• Train and develop the Tech team and act as point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Apply new processes and participate in meetings with Operations leadership.
• Respect safety and perform repairs including testing after service.
• Promote the Connected Home product and the "Serve, Solve, and Sell" approach.

Compensation: up to $17 per hour plus monthly incentives

In this role, you'll serve as an Assistant Manager:

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for their performance.
• Demonstrate an understanding of sales behaviors and customer service best practices, ensuring that Technicians are well-versed in the Connected Home product and the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.
• Train and develop the Tech team.
• Act as the point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new processes.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with Operational leadership.

As a Retail and Repair Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Learning and applying the details of the Connected Home product, understanding the customer's technology, and offering and selling protection/tech support solutions.
• Consulting with customers to identify issues or explain repair procedures.
• Repairing devices, addressing cracked glass, and conducting pre- and post-repair testing.
• Applying sales experience to consistently promote the Connected Home product and employ the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Highly recommended experience in sales and customer service.
• Essential experience with device repair, including computers, laptops, tablets, phones, hardware, software, and phone screen LCD replacement.
• Past experience with ability to frequently lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
• This is a full-time position with varying schedules. Working days and hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Deal-Breaker Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
