uBreakiFix by Asurion in College Station, TX seeks a Store Lead to drive sales, lead technicians, and maintain top customer service standards. This full-time role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on device repair duties.

You will train the Tech team, act as the dispatch contact, implement new processes, and participate in regular leadership meetings while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Schedule includes Mon-Sat 10am–7pm, Sun 12pm–5pm.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience or supervisory background.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Experience repairing devices (computers, tablets, phones, hardware) including testing.
• Hands-on soldering experience is required.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items >50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to drive sales and customer service metrics, and motivate technicians.
• Ensure Technicians are trained on Connected Home products and the Serve, Solve, and Sell approach.
• Train and develop the Tech team; act as the point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new processes; participate in daily/weekly leadership meetings.

Compensation: up to $17 per hour plus monthly incentives

In this role, you'll serve as a Lead:

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for their performance.
• Demonstrate an understanding of sales behaviors and customer service best practices, ensuring that Technicians are well‑versed in the Connected Home product and the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.
• Train and develop the Tech team.
• Act as the point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new processes.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with Operational leadership.

As a Retail and Repair Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Learning and applying the details of the Connected Home product, understanding the customer's technology, and offering and selling protection/tech support solutions.
• Consulting with customers to identify issues or explain repair procedures.
• Repairing devices, addressing cracked glass, and conducting pre- and post-repair testing.
• Applying sales experience to consistently promote the Connected Home product and employ the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Highly recommended experience in sales and customer service.
• Essential experience with device repair, including computers, laptops, tablets, phones, hardware, software, and phone screen LCD replacement.
• Hands-on soldering experience is required.
• Past experience with ability to frequently lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
• This is a full-time position with varying schedules. Working days and hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Deal-Breaker Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
