General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a world leader in remotely piloted aircraft and surveillance tech. We seek a Field Bulletin Sustainment/Closure Supervisor in the Engineering Field Support Department in San Diego, CA.

You will lead bulletin engineers, oversee sustainment, monitor compliance, and drive timely closures, while guiding internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical writing, team leadership, and Excel/Word/SharePoint skills;

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in engineering or related technical discipline with progressive experience.
• Strong technical writing skills to convey complex engineering issues clearly.
• Ability to lead and develop teams, work with multi-disciplined staff.
• Excellent communication, computer, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; SharePoint experience is highly desired.
• Experience with database research; UAV or aircraft knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to determine bulletin compliance status.
• Monitor maintenance databases and verify bulletin actions are completed.
• Lead meetings to determine customer intent and compliance.
• Review repair data and ensure updates in flight/maintenance manuals.
• Oversee software bulletin updates and SWIT reviews as applicable.
• Perform data analysis and read engineering drawings and specs.
• Obtain concurrence for Field Bulletin revisions and closures.
• Maintain confidentiality and support customers and team.
