Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of engineering/military documentation experience.
• Formal training in Aeronautical Decision Making, Crew Resource Management and Human Factors.
• Operational aircrew experience, preferably with MQ-9.
• Ability to develop, interpret, and communicate technical data clearly.
• DoD security clearance eligibility is required.
• Preferred: technical writing experience and Excel proficiency.
• Preferred FAA pilot’s certificate.

Responsibilities

• Researches, analyzes, develops, and documents detailed requirements for procedures, specifications, and reports.
• Reviews engineering source material and communicates technical information to customers.
• Assesses safety criteria in procedures and design to mitigate hazards.
• Develops safety procedures to support customer and test requirements.
• Collaborates with engineering, operations, and maintenance to resolve issues and document solutions.
• May serve as primary contact on contracts and programs.
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with laws and company policies.
