Job summary

EagleNXT, a leading UAV sensors and software company, is seeking a Sensor Software Engineer to develop end-to-end software for EagleNXT’s sensor suite and to optimize test/validation protocols for deployment across embedded platforms.

You will design algorithms for image data, implement in C++/Python for RTOS and Linux, and collaborate with Product and Project teams to manage the software lifecycle from design to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• Minimum five years of embedded systems development experience with sensors, image processing, or data analysis.
• Experience with microcontrollers, FPGA, and DSP programming.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS).
• Experience in regulated industries and quality systems (ISO-9001 / AS-9100).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and optimize algorithms for sensor operation, data extraction, filtering, and enhancement of visual and thermal image data.
• Develop efficient, scalable, reliable software using C++ and Python for embedded sensor OS (RTOS/Linux).
• Manage software lifecycle from design through validation and production including test protocols.
