Job summary

Entegee seeks a Mechanical Engineer focused on UAV systems. You will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, create CAD models, and support the full product development cycle from concept to field use.

You will work hands-on with UAV hardware, analyze designs for manufacturability and performance, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues. Relevant CAD skills and a passion for drones are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in product development, manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, UAVs, or related.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks preferred; other CAD platforms acceptable.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Willingness to work hands-on with UAV hardware and drones in projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for UAV platforms.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Use SolidWorks to develop designs and support engineering changes.
• Participate in full product development from concept to fabrication, testing, and integration.
• Work hands-on with UAV hardware for assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and modification.
• Analyze designs for manufacturability, weight, and performance.
• Document results and communicate design status and issues to the team.
