Job summary

Heven AeroTech, a leader in hydrogen-powered drones, is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive requirements, architecture, and verification across unmanned aircraft systems. You will work with Product, Business Development, and multiple engineering disciplines to turn system needs into testable demands and verified designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering).
• 4–10 years of systems engineering experience in UAS/aerospace/defense programs.
• Experience defining system architecture, interfaces, and requirements (CONOPs, ICDs, block diagrams).
• Knowledge of system modeling, trade studies, and data analysis (e.g., MATLAB).
• Experience developing and executing verification and validation plans.

Responsibilities

• Define system-level use cases, requirements, interfaces, and architecture for Heven UAS products and subsystems.
• Perform system modeling and simulation to evaluate performance and trade-offs.
• Lead design studies, trade studies, market surveys, and competitive analysis for development and proposals.
• Develop and conduct Design of Experiments; support RCCA investigations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure subsystem readiness and alignment with platform requirements.
• Develop, plan, and document system verification and validation activities, including flight test planning and reporting.
• Translate customer and operational needs into system-level performance and regulatory requirements.
