Job summary

Heven AeroTech in the United States seeks a Systems Engineer to support analysis, requirements definition, and design verification for unmanned aircraft systems. The role applies core systems engineering processes to mature UAS products from concept through fielded operation.

The Systems Engineer will work cross-functionally with Product, Business Development, and engineering discipline leads to translate system-level needs into well-defined, testable requirements and verified designs in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 4–10 years of systems engineering experience in UAS/aerospace/defense.
• Experience defining system architecture, interfaces, and requirements.
• Experience developing and executing verification and validation plans.

Responsibilities

• Define system-level use cases, requirements, interfaces, and architecture for UAS products and subsystems.
• Perform system modeling and simulation to evaluate performance and trade-offs.
• Lead design studies, trade studies, and market/competitive analyses.
• Develop and document test plans, including flight test planning and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers on systems engineering practices.
• Support FMEA, hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
