Job summary

Heven AeroTech is seeking a Systems Engineer to support analysis, requirements definition, and design verification of unmanned aircraft systems. You will translate system‑level needs into testable requirements and verified designs, working with product, business development, and engineering leads.

The role requires 4–10 years in aerospace/UAS, strong MATLAB/DoE experience, and a focus on reliability and maintainability as the product line matures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or related field.
• 4–10 years of systems engineering experience in UAS, aerospace, or defense programs.
• Experience defining architecture, interfaces, and requirements (CONOPs, ICDs, block diagrams).
• Experience developing and executing verification and validation plans.
• Familiarity with FMEA, hazard analysis, or system‑level risk assessment methods.
• Strong cross‑functional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Define system‑level use cases, requirements, interfaces, and architecture for Heven UAS products and subsystems.
• Perform system modeling and simulation to evaluate performance and trade‑offs with MATLAB and related tools.
• Lead design reviews and trade studies to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Author and execute DoE; lead data collection and RCCA investigations for flight test findings.
• Coordinate with product and business teams to translate needs into traceable requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers on systems engineering best practices.
