What You Will Do
- Build Sub-Components & UAVs: Assemble and integrate components to build complete unmanned aerial vehicles and related equipment
- Mechanical & Electrical Assembly: Assemble mechanical and electrical systems according to provided documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Work with a diverse array of composite materials to construct and mold parts from the initial design phase to final fabrication
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality control checks on new aircraft and other assembled equipment to ensure operational reliability and safety
- Testing & Calibration: Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment to support the operation and assembly of our products
- Process Improvement: Actively seek out and implement methods to enhance the build and assembly process for improved efficiency and quality
- Daily packing and shipping of swag and hardware orders (customers, employees, referrals, etc.)Understand how all components in inventory work together in the final drone product
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on production items
- Receive, inventory, and maintain all incoming stock
- Own the process of uploading and kitting DroneSense inventory for fulfillment
- Ability to perform minor technical repairs
Requirements
- Experience in assembling and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) and related components
- Active Part 107 license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to execute tasks with high-level direction and minimal supervision
- A hands-on, team-first mentality with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or production operations
- Able to lift, move, and pack items over 20lbs safely and efficiently
- Comfortable working with vendors and navigating supply chain logistics
- DroneSense employees full time US citizens who are current residence in one of the 50 contiguous United States. Though our positions are "remote" we do not work with offshore/near shore individuals or contractors to stay in compliance with our client's requirements.
