Job summary
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer for UAS Ground Control Systems. You will develop and implement command and control applications and mission software for autonomous Uncrewed Aerial Systems, spanning desktop and mobile platforms, while collaborating with autonomy developers to deliver human–computer interfaces.
The role emphasizes exposure to end-to-end GCS development, integration of advanced engineering techniques, and mentoring team members, with a focus on mission-ready
Qualifications
- 3+ years as a software developer on Linux-based embedded/edge systems.
- 3+ years in extensible software development with plugins and modular design.
- 1+ years developing applications using QGroundControl.
- Experience with Conan and Nix for package/config management.
- Knowledge of UAS domain including mission planning or vehicle management.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software/CS/CE/EE/Robotics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement C2 applications and mission software for UAS.
- Collaborate with autonomy developers and provide human-computer interfaces.
- Research, integrate, and deploy GCS software across desktops and mobile.
- Mentor and supervise team members.
