Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer to bridge end users and autonomous systems by developing C2 applications and mission software for UAS. You will work on GCS across desktop and mobile, collaborating with autonomy developers and delivering intuitive human–computer interfaces.

You will leverage Linux-based embedded/edge experience, extensible software patterns, and QGroundControl to build scalable tools while mentoring team members and pursuing secure clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software developer on Linux-based embedded or edge systems.
• 3+ years of experience with extensible software development (plugins, extensions, modular design).
• 1+ years of experience developing applications using QGroundControl.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement C2 applications and mission software for autonomous UAS.
• Research, develop, integrate, and deploy GCS across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with autonomy developers and provide human-computer interface across DoW missions.
• Mentor and supervise team members.
