Job summary

CSG Talent seeks an experienced UAS Software Engineer for remote work in the United States. You will develop, integrate, and test software for uncrewed aerial systems, focusing on autonomy, mission management, and hardware-software integration.

The role requires strong C++ and/or Python skills, plus hands-on experience with UAVs, embedded systems, and software verification. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance software in complex operating

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering in UAS/robotics or mission-critical environments.
• Strong C++ and/or Python programming skills.
• Experience with embedded software integration and hardware interfaces.
• Experience with software testing, simulation, and HIL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software in C++ and Python.
• Develop mission management, navigation, and autonomous system functionality.
• Integrate software with hardware, sensors, flight controllers, and embedded systems.
• Support verification and validation via simulation, HIL, and system tests.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers throughout the lifecycle.
