Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to conduct research, development, integration, deployment, and evaluation of robotic and uncrewed systems across multiple DoD mission areas.

You will work at the intersection of software and hardware, designing, testing, and demonstrating autonomous capabilities that address sensing, autonomy, and human interaction while mentoring teammates in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded C/C++ on Linux-based embedded/edge systems.
• 3+ years developing autonomy algorithms or autonomous behaviors.
• 3+ years developing software for flight systems or flight controllers.
• 1+ year distributed and collaborative teaming algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Experience with Conan and Nix for package management/configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software/CS/CE/EE/Robotics; ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
