Job summary

COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced UAS Field Engineer to provide hands-on technical and operational support for military UAS. You will support field operations, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training across Group 1 and Group 2 platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Experience configuring and operating UAS flight-control software and radio systems.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical engineering support for military UAS platforms, ensuring readiness.
• Lead daily operations including mission planning and data collection.
• Test and train users on UAS hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and operations teams to resolve field issues.
• Travel with the UAS Training team to field exercises.
• Assist Training Leads with updating training materials.
